The medical student at Bahiana Gabriela Fagundes Saffe won a scholarship to participate in the European Congress of Radiology, in Vienna, Austria. The academic integrates the monitoring of Applied Anatomy - Radiology and will present, at the Congress, on July 16th, her work "RadioComics" - Use Of Creativity To Teach Radiology, initiated in the monitoring and result of her Course Completion Work ( TCC).
In its editions, the European Congress of Radiology selects 32 student works to award a participation grant that consists of the total cost of registration, tickets and accommodation. This is the fifth time that the monitoring of Applied Anatomy – Radiology has won a grant to participate in the event.
“The opportunity to present a work at an international conference is just one of the many personal and professional achievements that scientific research can provide. Participating actively in this environment, during graduation, and alongside good professionals can open countless doors for us, even as students. I am very happy to have achieved this achievement together with the other authors of the research: my monitoring colleagues and my advisor Carolina Lins”, declared Gabriela Fagundes Saffe.
Works will be presented in May, at the scientific event that is one of the most important in the world.
The works were produced by researchers from the Childhood Urinal Disorders Center (CEDIMI).
Medical students Camila Verônica Freire and Maria Eduarda de Siervi represented the institution.
