On the eve of the celebration of its 64 years, the School Bahiana of Medicine and Public Healthwas recognized, once again, as one of the five best companies to work for in Bahia, according to the international entity Great Place to Work Institute (GPTW). The award ceremony took place on the night of this Monday, May 30, at the Casa do Comércio Events Hall, in Salvador, and was attended by the dean of Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani, and the institution's Human Resources manager, Telma Bastos. The institution was ranked 5th among the 10 companies recognized with the GPTW 2015 award.

"We will celebrate 65 years in 2017, and the good thing about it is really the people. This award is a way for us to make an evaluation and to show how much people recognize the Bahiana as a place that is good to be in, has a pleasant atmosphere to work and people do it in a happy way. So, celebrating 65 years like this is sensational, because the Bahiana it's what it is because of these people!", celebrated Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani.

The GPTW Institute has been studying and identifying the best companies to work for for 20 years. Today, the mapping reaches 53 countries, hearing more than 12 million employees about the work environment and internal policies that involve employees. In its third edition in Bahia, GPTW heard 34 thousand employees from 36 companies that participated in the survey. Among these participating companies, only 10 were awarded, totaling 8,6 employees.
