Bahiana celebrates GPTW 2013 award

A Bahiana has just confirmed its excellence by receiving the Great Place to Work (GPTW) 2013 award, as one of the five best companies in Bahia to work for. The ceremony took place on the morning of Tuesday, February 18, at the Sheraton Hotel in Bahia, and was attended by directors and managers of large companies that were also awarded the award.

“I attribute this award to the desire we have to do good and to the belief we have in people. People are the most important thing we have and this is not just a speech, we have really lived it”, highlights the dean of the Bahiana, Dr. Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani. The award took into account a survey carried out for six months in 35 organizations operating in Bahia. To reach the five winning companies, the GPTW applied two questionnaires: a quantitative one, consisting of 58 questions answered directly by employees, and a qualitative one, evaluated by the company's managers.
