Bahiana participates in the XIII National Meeting of the Brazilian Association for the Teaching of Psychology

The institution was represented by the coordinator of the Psychology course, prof. Sylvia Barreto, and by professors Ana Aparecida Martinelli Braga, Myla Arouca and Rosenir Alcântara.

"The present and the future of training in psychology: confronting precariousness in education, work and health" was the theme of the XIII National Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Psychology Education, which took place, virtually, from 16 to 18 September , in which the Bahiana she was represented by the coordinator of the Psychology course, prof. Sylvia Barreto, and by professors Ana Aparecida Martinelli Braga and Myla Arouca and Rosenir Alcântara. The event promoted the exchange of experiences regarding training in Psychology within the context of the pandemic.

Professor Sylvia Barreto represented the Bahiana at the Course Coordinators Forum, and professor Ana Aparecida Martinelli Braga and Rosenir Alcântara participated in the Internship Advisors and Supervisors Forum, in which she was able to participate by exchanging pedagogical experiences developed at the institution.

On the occasion, teacher Myla Arouca presented the experience “Inventivities in the school service (Psychology Clinic), in the pandemic context – a collective experience”. “We also talk a little about our trajectory and our challenges to reinvent digital psychology practices. It was a rich space for exchange and sharing, showing how our course is maintained with an ethical commitment and high quality, when we think about training in Psychology”, says Prof. Sylvia Barreto.
