Parathlete supported by Bahiana wins bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics

Renê Pereira is bronze in the Single Skiff PR1 rowing!

It was 23:10 pm Brasília time on Saturday (28th) and 11:10 am in Japan when the start of the final rowing event in the Single Skiff PR1 category of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, in which the para-athlete Renê Pereira Campos represented Brazil. After just over 10 minutes of competition, the Bahian won bronze, with third place!

This is the second Paralympics for Renê Pereira Campos, the country's biggest record holder for titles in sport, world runner-up and Brazilian five-time champion. He participated in the Paralympic Games in the edition of Rio de Janeiro, in 2016, when he won the 4th position in the final.

Renê Pereira Campos graduated in Medicine by Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, an institution that supports him in his career as a professional athlete.
