The histories of Brazil and Brazilian Popular Music were intertwined with the 69-year trajectory of Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, celebrated in a special live with the participation of the singer and composer Péri from Bahia and the dean of the institution, Maria Luisa Carvalho Soliani.

The animated chat was mediated by the People Development coordinator, Prof. Luiza Ribeiro, who, with chameleon mastery, enriched her participation using props, making the celebration creative and lively.

A rescue of Brazilian music, made through the sensitive eye of Péri, and of the political history of Brazil, under the astute criticism of the dean of Bahiana, painted the panorama of a path of overcome obstacles and achievements that remain in the institution's plot to this day.

Tributes were made to the Foundation's general coordinator Bahiana for Development of Sciences, Dr. Humberto Castro Lima, who was remembered for the sound of “Fly me to the moon”, by Frank Sinatra, one of his favorite singers.
