Death note: Lídice Santos Souza e Fuad

It is with great regret that we communicate the death of professor Lídice Santos Souza e Fuad.

graduated by Bahiana in 1978, Lídice was part of the historical construction of Physiotherapy in Bahia. A great professional in the area, in Orthopedics and Traumatology, he participated in the training of hundreds of physiotherapists graduated by Bahiana and by other institutions in Salvador.

"Good afternoon sir! We are from the Physiotherapy course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública. These here are my students and we will see you.” These were the usual words of professor Lídice Fuad, an example for all graduated physiotherapists who have undergone this humane care.

"A person with uplifting values, ethics, caring for others and a light joy", "I am proud to have you in our profession and an honor to have shared with you these years in the course coordination", "Competent professional, with a loving and respectful way of taking care of people". These are some of the dozens of manifestations of colleagues and professors referring to dear Lídice.

The burial will take place today at the Campo Santo Cemetery, at 16:30 pm.
