Career in Health Informatics is the subject of a web conference

Event takes place on September 28th and is open to the public.

"Career perspectives in the field of health informatics". This will be the theme of the web conference to be given by Professor Renato Sabbatini, on the day September 28, at 19h, via the Zoom platform. The web conference is open to the public and can be accessed via the Zoom link: zoom.us/j/97748338694 .

The event is an initiative of the Distance Learning Nucleus of Bahiana (NEAD), which is also open for registration for the course in Health Technologist, until October 5th.

Course
Lasting three years, the Health Technologist course forms articulators between information technology and the health area, which will be able to work in hospitals, in public administration, in health units, among other segments.

Renato Marcos Endrizzi Sabbatini graduated in Biomedical Sciences (1968) and Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics (1977) from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (USP). He has a postdoctoral degree at the Max-Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich, Germany (1977-1979). He is currently adjunct professor of Health Informatics at the School Bahiana of Medicine, the Brazilian Institute of Medical Sciences and several other institutions. In addition, it develops projects in telehealth, since 1985, and in distance education in health, since 1999.
