The mission to Bogotá also made it possible to contact Dr. Pedro Marquez, vice president of Royal Roads University (Victoria, Canada), who intends to expand his projects in Brazil, in addition to enabling dialogue with representatives of the Canadian government, responsible for the incentive to academic and cultural exchange with Latin American countries.

During the visit to the Bolivian city, interaction was also made with the University of Rosario (Colombia), the City University (Seatle – USA), Universidad del Leste (Paraguay) and McGill University (Canada).

As the manager of REAII states, "this experience has shown that the Bahiana is on the right path towards its qualification as an international institution, expanding its borders. The creation of a nucleus responsible for internationalization, the inclusion of its actions in the Institutional Development Plan indicators and the expansion of the network of partners in other countries are a reflection of this”.
