Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy celebrate 50 years of regulation in Bahiana

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública received, on October 10th and 11th, the I CREFITO-7 Forum (Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy – 7th Region), whose activities took place on Campus Cabula, with the participation of representatives of the council, professionals and professors of the institution. The event was a milestone for the professions and had as its theme: "50 years of the regulation of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy in Brazil: achievements, challenges and perspectives".

The program consisted of workshops, conversation circles and work exhibitions. Not only were the president and vice president of CREFITO-7, Gustavo Fernandes Vieira and Suely Maia Galvão Barreto present, but also the counselor and coordinator of the Physiotherapy course at Bahiana, Luciana Bilitário. "With this event, we were able to highlight the gains achieved during these 50 years for the profession and the perspectives we have from now on", emphasizes Bilitário.
