Physiotherapy Professor at Bahiana wins first place in an award at the Bahia State Congress of Cardiology

The teacher of the Physiotherapy course at Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública and Gleide Glícia Gama Lordello, Master's Student of the Post-Graduate Course in Medicine and Human Health, won the 1st place in the Best Oral Free Theme award at the 31st Congress of Cardiology of the State of Bahia. The award-winning work "Use of the cycle ergometer as an instrument for functional gain in phase I cardiac rehabilitation: is there a need?", was presented on May 3 and had the guidance of Professor Dr. Luiz Eduardo Fonteles Ritt.

In this edition of the Congress of Cardiology of the State of Bahia, which took place from May 1st to 4th, there was a record number of works submitted (289 free themes), of which only 12 were selected for oral presentation. The production of professor Gleide Glícia Gama Lordello, received unanimous approval, in 1st place, by the three reviewers present at the panel.

The awarded scientific work had the collaboration of other authors, namely: Glícia Gleide Gonçalves Gama, Gabriela Lago Rosier, Patrícia Alcântara Doval de Carvalho Viana, Luís Cláudio Correia and Luiz Eduardo Fonteles Ritt.
