Representatives of the Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública delivered a donation of 25,6kg of powdered whole milk to the institution LAR VIDA (Individual Valuation of the Disabled Anonymous), on April 12, 2018. The action was part of Delivery Day, a social responsibility event held by Bahiana, which happens bimonthly.

The delivery was carried out by collaborators Sheila Usêda and Felipe Nepomuceno, from the Dean of Extension, and Juliana Suassuna, from the Postgraduate Academic Nucleus.

The packets of powdered milk were donated by the participants of the “Exam Interpretation Seminar: what to evaluate in the care of critically ill patients?”, which took place on March 24 of this year and organized by the Postgraduate Course in Nursing in Intensive Care, from school Bahiana of Medicine.

LAR VIDA houses children, teenagers and adults up to 35 years old, who have various disabilities: visual, hearing, Down syndrome, among others. The institution is located at Sítio Ipitanga, on Estrada Velha do Aeroporto.
