ENROLLMENT 2009.2 - VETERANS

A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública, informs students of Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Dentistry, Biomedicine and Nursing courses that enrollment will be open for the 2009.2 academic period, according to the following schedule:

Within the enrollment calendar established in this Notice, the student must access the website www.bahiana.edu.br and follow the instructions therein to enroll in the 2009.2 academic term, printing the corresponding bank slip for the first installment of the annual/semi-annual fee, which payment will be made as follows:

- in relation to the enrollment of students in Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychology courses, the payment of the first installment will be made at any Bradesco branch;
- in relation to the enrollment of students in the Dentistry, Biomedicine and Nursing courses, the payment of the first installment will be made at any Caixa Econômica Federal branch.

III - The amount of monthly fees

The monthly fees for each course are published on the bulletin boards of the Academic Units Nazaré, Brotas and Cabula, with the corresponding text of the contract proposal and other information.

IV - Necessary requirements

Student enrollment will depend on:

- the payment of school tuition for the academic period 2008.2 to 2009.1 in relation to students of Medicine, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy courses and the inexistence of previous debts, including no pending issues with the Institution's library system;
- the discharge of the school semester for the academic period 2009.1 in relation to students of Psychology, Dentistry, Biomedicine and Nursing courses and the inexistence of previous debts, including no pending issues with the Institution's library system;
- of filling, through the website, www.bahiana.edu.br, the respective application for registration and the payment of the first installment referring to 2009.2.

Students, at the time of formulating their application for enrollment, when necessary, due to legal provision, must fill out the questionnaire regarding life insurance, whose financial burden will be the responsibility of the Institution and, subsequently, print and deliver it to the Secretariat duly signed.

V - Additional information

The student in debt must previously go to the Financial Monitoring and Control Sector, located at Av. D. João VI, 275, Academic Unit Brotas, Pavilion III, room 105, from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:30 pm (Monday to Friday), in order to promote its financial regularization, observing the following schedule:

- for students to be enrolled in the 2nd and 3rd years of the Medicine course, the settlement of financial and administrative disputes will take place until the 01st of July of the current year;
- for students to be enrolled in the 4th and 5th years of the Medicine course, the settlement of financial and administrative disputes will take place by the 25th of June of the current year;
- for students to be enrolled in the 6th year of the Medicine course, the settlement of financial and administrative disputes will take place until June 12 of the current year;
- for students to be enrolled in the 5th year of the Physiotherapy course, the settlement of financial and administrative disputes will take place until the 26th of June of the current year;
- in relation to students of Physiotherapy (2nd, 3rd and 4th year), Occupational Therapy (2nd, 3rd and 4th year), Psychology, Dentistry, Biomedicine and Nursing courses, the settlement of financial and administrative disputes will occur until the on July 08, 2009.
- Students of the Medicine course who have academic issues that make it impossible to enroll online must, within the period indicated in this Notice, seek the Medical School Secretariat (Rua Frei Henrique, 08, Nazaré) for their corresponding completion.
- the non-attendance of the student on the respective date stipulated in this Notice to carry out the registration will imply in the characterization of the abandonment. Dial registration number (71) 2101-1949.
