Public Selection of Proposals for Granting Scientific Initiation Scholarships for Scientific Research Projects 



COURSE IN PHYSIOTHERAPY 


1. General Information
A Escola Bahiana de Medicina e Saúde Pública makes it public and calls on students to submit research projects to obtain scholarships presented in this notice.

1.1. objective 

Supporting with its own resources the execution of research projects developed by researchers in the Physiotherapy course, by granting scientific initiation scholarships to regularly enrolled undergraduate students. 
• Contribute to the training of human resources for research. 


2. Schedule 

• Release of the Public Notice 11/06/2008
• Receipt of Proposals from 11/06/2008 until 27/06/2008
• Analysis and Judgment from 27/06/2008 to 25/07/2008.
• Disclosure of Results 31/07/2008.

Note The works must be delivered, personally, to the Coordination of the Physiotherapy Course of the Academic Unit of Brotas from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. to Mr. Sayonara, currently being checked and registered. 


3. Number of vacancies

• 08 (eight) Scientific Initiation scholarships, in the amount of R$110,00 (one hundred and ten reais) per month.


4. Eligible Students

a) Be regularly enrolled, as of the 3rd semester, in the undergraduate course in Physiotherapy at EBMSP.
b) Not having an employment relationship and devoting 20 (twenty) hours a week to research activities.
c) Be nominated and selected by a professor working in one of the thematic centers of the Physiotherapy Course at EBMSP.
d) Have an updated curriculum on the Lattes Platform.
e) Not be benefited by another scholarship.
f) Present an average in history greater than or equal to 7,5 (seven and a half). 



5. Eligible Advisors

a) Be an active professor in one of the thematic centers of the Physiotherapy Course at EBMSP, with a minimum degree of specialist;
b) Have an up-to-date curriculum on the Lattes Platform;
c) Guide a maximum of 01 (one) scholarship holder within this Program. 



6. Duration and Deadlines

• The duration of the scholarship is 12 (twelve) months, but it cannot exceed the deadline for completing the course.


7. Submission of Proposals

• 3 copies of the completed EBMSP/Physiotherapy Course Research Project Submission Form (Appendix A).
• 3 copies of the Work Plan submission form (individual) to be developed by the grantee in the research project, completed (Annex B);
• 1 copy of the Enrollment Proof with the candidate's registration (optional)
• 1 copy of the complete and updated Lattes Curriculum of the advisor and candidate student (printed from the Lattes platform);
• 1 copy of the candidate's academic record, in the Physiotherapy course at FBDC.
• Declaration of not having an employment relationship
• Advisory statement confirming acceptance to assist in conducting the project



Notes:

1. Enrollment will be made upon presentation of the required documents, at the Physiotherapy Coordination, after receiving a protocol as proof of enrollment.
2. Incomplete delivery of the requested material will result in disqualification of the candidates.
3. The delivery of incomplete materials for further complementation will not be allowed.
 


8. Analysis and Judgment

• The selection of proposals submitted to the EBMSP - Physiotherapy Course, in compliance with this Notice, will follow the steps and conditions below and will comply with the Selection Committee's judgment criteria.
• The judgment of the proposals will be carried out by two professors, appointed by the Knowledge Production Nucleus.


9. Outcome of the Judgment and Implementation of the Scholarships.

The results will be announced on July 31 on the EBMSP institutional homepage (https: // www.bahiana.edu.br/) and through the pedagogical secretariats of the Academic Unit of Brotas, which will be responsible for fixing the murals. Candidates are responsible for informing themselves of them. After the result, a copy of the proposal will be available at the Institution, for a period of 30 days, to be redeemed by the candidate. At the end of this period, the proposals will be destroyed.


10. Execution of Activities

• A minimum of 50% of the activities must be carried out on the premises of the EBMSP or in associated areas – Physiotherapy course.


11. Follow-up and final evaluation

a) EBMSP reserves the right at any time to request additional information or documents deemed necessary for the evaluation and monitoring of proposals.
b) The scholarship holder must submit a partial report of their activities after the first 6 (six) months of validity. The evolution of the orientation will be monitored by an internal committee.
c) The scholarship holder must submit a final report in the 12th month of the scholarship.
d) The grantee must present the results of the project in the scientific and academic forums of the EBMSP in accordance with the institutional calendar.
e) All presentations at scientific events or publications must cite EBMSP as an auxiliary source of support
f) All presentations at scientific events and publications must be attached to partial or final reports.

12. Revocation or Annulment of the Notice

• At any time, this Notice may be revoked or annulled, in whole or in part, including the resources allocated to it by unilateral decision of FBDC, for reasons of public interest or legal requirement, without this implying rights to indemnity or claim of any kind.
• In case of loss of any subject in the semester, failure to enroll or cancel the course, the student must inform this situation and the scholarship will be suspended. 


13. Additional Information.

• Candidates may submit proposals that have previously benefited from the same Program, as long as they are new projects or an extension of a project already contemplated.
• Selected projects must be submitted to the ethics committee, if necessary.
• The documents sent for selection of the EBMSP/FAPESB Notice of May 2008 can be retrieved at the secretariat of the Academic Unit of Nazaré and sent to the Physical Therapy coordination to be registered in this notice.
• Delivery of documentation to receive the scholarship from August 01st to 08th, 2008.
• Selected students must go to the course secretary with ID, CPF and proof of recent residency (with their respective copies), to be forwarded to the FBDC Personnel Department.
