Bahiana receives the seal of responsible institution 2016/2017

Bahiana Last February it received the Seal of Responsible Institution 2016/2017. This is the sixth time that the school has been recognized for the continuity of social responsibility actions developed in the Scientific and Cultural Exhibition program. In addition to its didactic and scientific character, the Mostra annually receives hundreds of people from different communities in Salvador to participate in health education activities.

The Seal is a certification granted by the Brazilian Association of Higher Education Supporters (ABMES) to private higher education institutions that carry out social responsibility activities in September, when the Day of Social Responsibility in Higher Education is celebrated, which is date September 27th.

The Social Responsibility Day for Private Higher Education aims to inform society and the government of the great importance of private higher education and demonstrate, with facts and figures, that private education institutions have been fulfilling their social responsibility and commitment.
