Why Dentistry in Bahiana?

The Dentistry student at Bahiana performs individual and collective clinical care, working to promote people's health and quality of life. From the 2nd semester onwards, practical health education activities are carried out with community groups. In the 4th semester, activities with patients begin. These practices are carried out in the sectorial and integrated clinics of the Bahiana, and also in extramural internships, with activities in clinical and hospital dentistry. During their training, laboratory/outpatient practice and supervised internship correspond to 75% of the total course load, resulting in solid and comprehensive theoretical training and intense training.

It has a comprehensive dental culture, develops skills for the formation of a stomatologist general practitioner with a high technical level, based on biological and humanistic aspects, integrated into society, reality, the labor market and focused on the practice of the profession with social scope.
