The experience of moving through the facilities of the Bahiana represents a journey through knowledge, in which the trajectory is marked by learning, encounters and discoveries.
Providing the most modern infrastructure, the Campi Brotas and Cabula have classrooms, teaching, research and computer labs, auditoriums, clinics, libraries, video libraries, videoconference rooms, living spaces, a large green area and a convention center located on Campus Cabula. All environments of the institution provide Eduroam Wi-Fi.
A few meters from the Campus Brotas, the Rectory and General Coordinator's house, located in the middle of a large garden, also houses the Management and Quality Center (NGQ), the Planning Advisory (ASPLAN), the Institutional Academic Relationship and Internationalization Center (REAI), the Research Ethics Committee (CEP), the Distance Learning Center (NEAD), the Center for the Development of Educational Technologies (CEDETE), the Communication and Marketing Center (NUCOM), the Own Assessment Commission (CPA) and the Department of Infrastructure (DEPIN).
This building also houses the Commercial area and the People Development, Administrative-Financial, Legal, Communication and Marketing, Institutional Development and Social Impact Business coordinations.
In the Coordination's gardens, there is a bronze statue of the late professor Dr. Humberto de Castro Lima, who died in 2008, a physician and head professor of ophthalmology at the School Bahiana, member of the academy Bahiana de Medicina, former general coordinator of FBDC, founder of IBOPC – Brazilian Institute of Ophthalmology and Prevention of Blindness, and a prominent figure in the fight against blindness in Brazil.
