CEPICS Bahiana integrates the schedule of the II May of the PICS.

RedePICS Bahia, composed of training institutions (CEPICS-BAHIANA, UFBA, UNEB, UEFS, UFSB, UFRB, FTC, ESPBA), professionals, managers and users of Integrative and Complementary Health Practices (PICS) in the municipal and state networks of Bahia, social control (CES) and popular movements (ANEPS, AMB), invites everyone to participate in the various activities of the II MAY OF PICS - Flourish in Integrative and Complementary Practices in Health, between the 23th and 28st of May.

The second edition of PICS May aims to celebrate and promote the expansion of PICS in the SUS in the state of Bahia, in its various municipalities and, for this, it will take place in a hybrid way (in person and telepresence) and in different spaces. Registration for the event is free and can be done on the website: www.even3.com.br/2mdp2022.

A Bahiana will be present in the program, with activities offered by the Center for Integrative and Complementary Practices of Bahiana – CEPICS, with auriculotherapy, Reiki, massage therapy and Ayurvedic therapies, conversation circles, lectures and collective practices (Yoga, mindfulness meditation, bioenergetic analysis and Qi Gong).

As part of the program, on the 24/05th, we will have the lecture “The place of Ayurveda in the current health system” with the renowned Dr. José Rugue Ribeiro Junior. The broadcast will take place on YouTube channel of Bahiana and will be mediated by Carolina Pedroza de Carvalho Garcia and Regina Puja Kinzer.
